Permanent makeup has become so popular over the last decade but there are still so many unknowns....

here's a few answers to some of the most common questions .

Whats the difference between Microblading and Powder brows?

Essentially they are the same principle, they are both a tattoo and pigment is deposited into the epidermis at the same depth for both treatments, the difference here is the tools used for each technique. Microblading is a process which uses a hand tool, whereas Powder brows (and other tattoo techniques such as Powdered Ombré, and hair strokes) are tattooed with a digital machine. So the overall difference is the resulting look.

How Long does PMU last?

I always tell my clients the better you look after your PMU the longer it'll last but it's generally 8 - 18 months, It varies from client to client depending on skin type, metabolism, some medications, products applied to the face over time, and sun exposure.

How painful is the treatment?

The majority of clients report it to be virtually painless and there is hardly any downtime so you can carry on with your day to day as normal afterwards.

Do I need to shave my brows off?

Definitely not! If you have brow hair it will be incorporated into the design of your new brows.

You also don't need to pluck or wax anything, I will tend to all of that at your appointment, however if you want to have your normal brow wax before your PMU treatment it is advised to do it at least 48 hrs before.

I haven't got any brows, can I still have them done?

Yes! It doesn't matter whether you have big bushy brows that need more shape and definition or little to no hair you can have Permanent makeup to fill them, define them, bring out your eyes, lift your features, and simply make you feel good about yourself.

Is Microblading suitable for me?

Microblading is not suitable for every skin type,  if you are very oily skinned, have mature skin, or have had a lot of  collective sun exposure you may be better suited to a micropigmentation tattoo brow such as Powder, or soft hair strokes which is suitable for all skin types.

Can I wear makeup to my appointment?

Yes of course, I actually prefer it when clients come with their normal everyday makeup as this helps me to advise them on what treatment would be best to get the results they desire.

My mission

My mission is to give my clients a wonderful relaxed experience from start to finish and  beautiful PMU that will not only look good today but will also age well by choosing products and techniques that will fade gently and beautifully giving the client options to change their look over the years.

There literally is no silly question - this is your face after all!

I like to give my clients all the info they need to make informed choices about their treatments.
